Meet My Right-Hand Girl

Behind the scenes (and often right beside me at sessions) is my best friend and biggest supporter, Courtney. We’ve been friends since elementary school, and having her alongside me on this journey has been one of the best parts of growing this business.

She wears many hats—helping with scheduling, keeping dates organized, assisting with posing during sessions, and serving as my trusted second shooter at weddings. Her calm presence and attention to detail help everything run smoothly, especially on busy wedding days.

Outside of photography, Courtney is an amazing wife and mom to three beautiful girls, as well as a passionate family advocate at her local Head Start—which means she’s basically a kid-whisperer during sessions. She came into this business simply to help and have fun, and it all started with a simple question before my very first wedding: “Hey, do you want to come help me?” That wedding became an opportunity to gain experience and begin building a portfolio with a wonderful couple who trusted us with their day. We had the best time, and it sparked something special—one that continues to grow as we add to our portfolio, make memories, and capture yours.

Since then, she’s been learning the camera and the art of photography right alongside me, and we’ve had so much fun growing, learning, and creating together. I’m incredibly grateful to have not only a second shooter, but a lifelong friend by my side.
